Los Angeles, CA, May 15, 2012 - Bremerton, WA, punk-rock trio MXPX turn their newly announced four West Coast 20th Anniversary Shows into a "20th Anniversary Tour" by adding their anniversary show date, Friday, July 6, at the Best Buy Theater in New York, NY, followed by a performance at The Trocadero in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, July 7.

MXPX's "20th Anniversary Tour" will begin on Saturday, May 26, in Seattle at El Corazon with Amber Pacific and Poorsport. A portion of proceeds from this show will benefit Seattle-based nonprofit Thrive Through Cancer's Hope Tote Program. Thrive Through Cancer is a new organization created by young adults, for young adults. Working in partnership with Swedish Medical Center Foundation, from the money raised they will surprise newly diagnosed cancer patients with "Hope Totes," bags filled with comforting and encouraging items to bring them joy and hope.

In addition to their Seattle date, the band will perform two Southern California showcases with friends Set Your Goals, Mest and Rufio. Up first, the House of Blues in Anaheim on Friday, June 29, followed by the House of Blues West Hollywood on Saturday, June 30.

A week prior to the band's House of Blues dates, MXPX frontman Mike Herrera will perform four solo Vans Warped Tour dates on the Acoustic Basement Stage, presented by Full Sail University. Herrera will perform on Thursday, June 21, at Orange County Great Park in Irvine, CA, Friday, June 22, at Pomona Fairplex in Pomona, CA, Saturday, June 23, at AT&T Park Lot A in San Francisco, CA, and Sunday, June 24, at Ventura County Fair Grounds in Ventura, CA.

MXPX will head to Northern California to perform at JoshuaFest for the third time. They will headline the main stage the first night of the three-day music festival, Friday, August 31, at Amador County Fairgrounds, closing out their confirmed "20th Anniversary Tour" dates.

The band is touring in support of their recently released ninth studio album, PLANS WITHIN PLANS (MRI/Rock City Recording Company). Staying true to both themselves and their sound, MXPX have remained one of pop-punk's most well-respected names for nearly two decades. Fans will definitely be given the chance to reminisce with the band through a set list of both old and new tracks from their catalog.

MXPX is Mike Herrera (bass/vocals), Tom Wisniewski (guitars) and Yuri Ruley (drums). The band has sold over 2.5 million records worldwide and is ready to make a steady impact within the music community with their new album and "20th Anniversary Tour" dates.
